Taxis on Guernsey are licenced and regulated by the States of Guernsey. Booking in advance is advisable, especially if you are travelling during the peak hours of early morning/lunchtime and evening.

Taxi Ranks

The following are locations of the most frequently attended taxi ranks in Guernsey:

Weighbridge (St Peter Port)  714143

The Bridge (St Sampsons)  247131

The Airport (Forest)  235283

Accessible Taxis

If you have additional needs there are four licenced accessible taxi operators on the island. They can be contacted by phone, text or email. These taxis are fitted with shallow wheelchair ramps as well as other specialised features to assist persons with disabilities. Further details can be found here.

Taxi Fares

Taxi fares are under discussion within the States of Guernsey. However, the current fare guide is available here. A taxi journey from the Airport to St Peter Port will take approximately 15 minutes and cost around £20. Fares are higher on Sundays/Bank Holidays and after midnight.
