Aiming for community involvement, the Guernsey Tapestry was stitched by residents of Guernsey, and illustrates 1000 years of Guernsey's history. With 10 panels (each depicting one century), the tapestry is a lasting reminder of the Millennium celebrations, encouraging people to become more interested in the historical aspect of Guernsey. Audio guides are available in English, French and German, and there is a gift shop for patrons to have a souvenier of their trip.
